Community Farm

Behind City Hall on Bangs Avenue, Asbury Park NJ

Our Community Farm is a labor of love for the dedicated volunteers who nurture, culture, maintain and harvest from it all year round. It consists of 24 raised beds, a greenhouse used for starting seeds early in the spring, and many additional pots and baskets throughout the space. The produce, herbs and flowers grown in the garden are distributed for free from our farm stand, every Saturday throughout the growing season. Nancy Fasano, a Master Gardener, manages the garden. In 2015 Watermark became the primary funder of the Community Farm and has remained so to this day. Without its steadfast generosity many people without means would be deprived of fresh healthy vegetables during the growing season. ESTC volunteer Sue Peckman photographs this garden every week.
