Volunteers gather on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, from 9:00am until 11:00am. We announce which garden we’ll be working on the day before each gathering, so check this page to see where we will be meeting.
It appears the weather gods have finally exhausted their water supply and Saturday will hopefully be sunny and amenable to have the ESTC Greening at the backside of City Hall where crepe myrtles, roses and hydrangeas patiently await their springtime pruning.
Saturday's weather will be windy but Green-able so volunteers will meet at Owen's Garden (5th Ave and Emory) to plant a rhododendron and a Crab Apple tree on Sunset Lake and 5th Ave. Then we will move to Merchants Park to plant a second rhododendron.

Despite the possibility of rain on Saturday morning, Volunteers will be 'singing in the rain' as we plant 6 Sentry Linden trees along Grand Ave beginning at the Civil War Garden on Grand and Cookman Avenues. Saturday 4/20/24 9-11 AM
Spring weeds are popping up all over so we will meet at the Gratitude Garden on Bangs Avenue at the side entrance of City Hall from 9-11 AM.
Saturday's Greening (4/27/24 - 9-11 AM) will begin at the Atkins Avenue Garden (between Springwood and Heck Ave)where a rescued Rose of Sharon and a donated Keria will be planted. Afterwards, Volunteers will return to the Gratitude Garden to complete the weeding project and begin mulching the garden.
Tomorrow's Greening will be at Merchants Park on Main and Cookman Ave. Spring weeding and mulching will be our foci. May 1, 2024 APESTC Greening 9-11 AM
Saturday's greening will take place at the Rain Garden on Main Street and Springwood Avenue. There's more than one Greening to be done there so we will begin a several days project with our usual energy and humor.

Saturday's greening will begin at the Children's Garden on Lake Avenue, and continue over to the Rainbow Bridge Garden up the road.
